Faculty First-Year Seminars (FFYS)
Faculty Resources

This page is intended to be a resource for faculty who are teaching (or interested in teaching) a FFYS. We expect the wealth of information to grow as faculty submit information to share with each other.

As you teach these seminars with students who are just beginning their college career, we anticipate you may be faced with a multitude of questions related to a wide range of topics.  Certainly you will not be the person with all the answers. However, we are hopeful that you will be able to point the student to the person or office that will be able to help them. We have compiled some referral lists to assist you.

Center for Teaching (CFT)

As always, the CFT has a wealth of information to support faculty, including teaching consultation services as well as their popular Midterm Assessment Process (MAP).
