Academic Advising Link

Learning Commons, W.E.B. DuBois Library

Sundays through Thursdays, 4-8:00pm

The ACADEMIC ADVISING LINK  is open during the fall and spring semesters, when classes are in session.

The Academic Advising Link (AAL) is a convenient resource, open to ANY undergraduate (undeclared or declared majors), where you can get connected with UMass resources and information.  Consult with experienced academic staff (peer and professional) at the Academic Advising Link in the Learning Commons of the Du Bois Library.

AAL/Link staff work closely with the Advising Centers, Chief Undergraduate Advisors and Undergraduate Deans from all of the UMass Amherst Schools and Colleges.  The Link can connect you with the appropriate academic contacts and resources, and support your journey to academic success.

What can the AAL help you with?

  • Advising resources
  • Campus-wide academic support
  • General Education Requirements
  • Registration rules & regulations
  • Special Learning Opportunities
  • Academic Requirements Report
  • SPIRE
